This Privacy Policy explains how Funderworks LLC (“BRIDGE,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the BRIDGE mobile apps and website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, phone number, role (agent, investor, pro), and profile details you provide.
- Verification information — for pros, identity, license, and payout details. Identity and bank verification are handled by Stripe; we do not store full bank or government‑ID numbers.
- Payment information — card and payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We receive limited data such as the last four digits, brand, and transaction status — never full card numbers.
- Service activity — bookings, messages, jobs, schedules, reviews, and documents you create in the app.
- Location — approximate or precise location (with your permission) to match you with nearby pros and enable live tracking.
- Device & usage data — device type, app version, IP address, and usage analytics to operate and improve the Service.
How we use information
- To provide the Service — create accounts, match requests with pros, process payments and payouts, and enable communication.
- To verify identity and eligibility, prevent fraud, and keep the marketplace safe.
- To send transactional messages (booking status, payment receipts, payout notices) and, with your consent, product updates.
- To improve features, troubleshoot, and analyze how the Service is used.
- To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
How we share information
- Between users — to complete a job, we share what the other side needs (e.g., a buyer’s booking details with the assigned pro, a pro’s name/rating with the buyer).
- Service providers (processors) — Stripe (payments, payouts, identity), our hosting and database providers (including Supabase), analytics, and communications vendors, who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Legal — when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
SMS & text messaging
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send service‑related text messages (for example, booking and payout updates or one‑time verification codes). Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Mobile opt‑in data and consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Your choices & rights
- Access & deletion — you can request a copy of your data or delete your account directly in the app (Account → Settings → Delete account) or by emailing privacy@bridge-re.com.
- Location & notifications — you can control these in your device settings.
- Marketing — you can opt out of promotional messages while still receiving transactional ones.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (e.g., under U.S. state privacy laws). Contact us to exercise them.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then retain limited records as required for legal, tax, and fraud‑prevention purposes.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. Sensitive payment and identity data is tokenized and handled by Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
The Service is for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
